Memorial Day in Rock Hall

Every year, Nick and I travel to Rock Hall, Maryland to celebrate the holiday with the Allen Family (and Becker’s).  The weekend is always filled with lots of love, laughs, fun activities (including but not limited to boating, kayaking, running, biking) and of course delicious food and cocktails! We went on a Fishing trip on Sunday with Rock Hall Fishing Charters, owned by good friends (and Captains).  It was a blast!

Birthday Celebrations and Surprises!

Several weeks ago we (Lauren, My Dad, and I) decided it would be fun to schedule a surprise trip to Connecticut for my Mom’s birthday! It was also my Aunt Joyce’s  birthday and my baby cousin Eliza’s 1st birthday party that most of my family was attending.  It was the perfect weekend to visit!!

Nick and I just got back from a lovely visit to Helena, AL (just outside of Birmingham) where my sister-in-law, Kathy, and brother-in-law, Pete moved into their NEW house a couple weeks ago. You would think they've been there for months.. Everything is completey unpacked and cozy! This house is all around gorgeous.. from the spacious porches to the fine details inside. It was wonderful to spend time with them and enjoy their new home.

My beautiful nephew Ryder

Along with being a newly wed, another great joy has been being an Aunt to my nephew Ryder. He is almost 7 months old and I have the pleasure of living only a few miles from my sister Lauren, brother-in-law Tige and little Ryder. He is growing up so fast and he's incredibly fun to be around. Look at that face!
